C\u2019est ainsi que, deux ans plus tard, Laverda cr\u00e9a l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement en pr\u00e9sentant une 650 cm3 au salon de Londres . Avec un moteur \u00e9voquant les Honda CB77 avec un calage \u00ab \u00e0 l\u2019anglaise \u00bb \u00e0 360\u00b0pour affirmer le caract\u00e8re et un \u00e9quipement \u00e9lectrique Bosch, la 650  Laverda se pr\u00e9sentait comme un compromis  qui reprenait ce qui se faisait de mieux \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque. La production commen\u00e7a en 1968.
